Went on vacation for the first time in about 3 years. It took my wife (Liz) four months to convince me to go with her and the rest of her family,But with much trepidation I got the time off of work, got over missing the rally,(Sturgis dont'cha Know) And spent a week in quite possibly the most beautiful place on EARTH Costa Rica, San Jose to be exact this place rocks. I would go back in a minute. We had the best time,toured the coffee plantations,went to some museums , walked around the inside of a volcano,Rode the zip lines through the jungle canopy. It was awesome. The weather was beautiful warm and not to humid. Quite possibly the most amazing thing about CR is they don't have an ARMY none nada not one solder,sailor,airmen or marine. Ain't had a military since 1949 when some general tried to stage a coup. so the tica's threw him out and then disbanded the military so it can't happen again. Now don't get me wrong I am a former GI and even I love the idea of no military.
